I've never tried it. I guess it would depend on how the space was portioned out - one single room, a couple small rooms, or what. I'd be worried that I'd end up claustrophobic.

From the research I did, supposedly you called it and heard a sob story which made you cry.

Right after the first tear falls, there's a second tear that just breaks free. The scene cuts away before it can truly fall.

Handkerchief, speaking personally, I've had a couple of controlled tantrums that turned out to be VERY therapeutic. The first one had me beating a pile of cushions with a baseball bat while screaming "I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU!" while being supervised by a therapist. The other one I did on my own, no screaming, but cushion beating with a whiffle ball bat for a set amount of time (5 minutes). If you set parameters for a controlled tantrum, it can really help ease the tension.

I honestly can't imagine being with someone else who had this fetish - the thought makes me feel uneasy. This is such a deeply personal thing - I haven't told my husband although he may suspect something. Either way, I prefer to keep it very private (like my own personal secret.)

La Llorana, you could easily have written my story. The only thing about tearing up for me is that it brings on a sense of shame - in my family, tears were something to hide lest they be used against you. My mother and I had "issues" which, even now, rear their ugly heads and one of them is being belittled when I cried. I'm only comfortable crying in a closed room alone.

However, I can't remember when I wasn't attracted to men's tears - but have found I much prefer tears on TV or in movies. Real life tears distress me more than intrigue me, and tears don't arouse me physically so much as psychologically and emotionally.

Lately, if I feel the need to cry, I find playing certain songs - and singing along with them - invariably brings up tears. The songs all have a phrase that hits me "right in the feels" and so I cry. I can't help it.

I've written others - I was thinking of making it a series, this was the fourth one. If you search on the word "Solace" you'll find them. I started the series writing about a woman who had a unique ability, thinking of something along "superhero" lines, but it didn't turn out quite that way.

In that case, the clip from Season Six of "Desperate Romantics" where (SPOILER ALERT) Rossetti finds his wife dead is a good one for me. It captures the quick turnaround of emotion from upbeat to frantic to despair - and Aiden Turner is an excellent crier!

One of the things I like about the forum is the anonymity If you do decide to facilitate meetups, I won't participate - I don't do social stuff.
