Oh, I have seen this. It is a very good movie. The mother and father (Carell) DO cry a lot, but Tim, not so much. He has a few scenes with red eyes and some tears and his mom hugs and comforts him at one point, but it is very short and there is no outright sobbing. Which sucks cause I really wanted to see Chamalet do that. He isn't gay from what I remember, but is on drugs, and they try to help him get sober. (Spoilers) After a failed suicide attempt, he and Carell sit outside the rehab facility and it is a long-range shot, and Tim falls onto his father's lap in tears. You can SEE him sobbing as his father holds him from afar, but there is nothing to hear but music. Dang it. LOL...very good movie, though, should you care to watch it.
