Comedic scenes that depict real crying- Jeremy Piven

Jeremy Piven - he's really masterful at this. I saw various clips from Entourage and at times, even in seconds he manages to cry openly. I guess he's one of the greatest criers i ever seen..I also saw him star in I Melt with  You, were he has about 5 crying scenes. In Smokin' Aces he's very weird looking when he sobs. I'll try to post them here :

Here are the scenes from Entourage as Ari Gold:

Re: Comedic scenes that depict real crying- Jeremy Piven

I found the movie I melt with you, at 61'27 there's a very dramatic scene were all the males break down at one point, Piven's face is very expressive while he tears up

At 82'23 it's a longer scene, his tears almost stream continuosly at one point (WOW!!!)

Re: Comedic scenes that depict real crying- Jeremy Piven

You're right October 1394, his scenes are rather dramatic in the context of gis crying but some of them there are also somehow funny and off beat. Think about the first scene were he's schoomzing the professor and begging in a very funny way and then that tearing up which adds dramatism. Or the last scene where he says ''fuck you'' , it's very comic but his voice betrays saddnes or anguish.
I also at one time read on the net an article where he says he's a natural crier and a very heavy one.During one interview he managed to sob two times because he was ill and the media thought it unprofessional for him to miss work because of that..He's certainly a maverick.
I can't wait right now the second season from Mr. Selfridge. He cries in that as well..

Jeremy Piven has two very brief crying scenes in Last Call when his character is mourning the death of his mother. https://2kmovie.cc/watch-movie/watch-last-call-free-68691.4799362 ( the crying is somewhat subdued to some extent). Pause at 10:41 and at  28:50..
