Re: assassination Charlie Hebdo

Then there was the attack on the kosher grocery.  In fact the terrorists had been en route to attack a Jewish school (a terrorist attacked a Jewish school in 2012 and killed three children and a father escorting them to school. ) but an mva prevented them from getting there.  The kosher grocery was a target of opportunity. Jews are leaving France by the hundreds.  It's a mass exodus.  Jews no longer wear yarmulkas or other identifying garments in public in Paris because it makes them targets for beatings,  stabbings and kidnappings by Muslim zealots. It's become the norm. And it terrifies me.

I'm in New York but my kids go to a Jewish school.  My husband works in a kosher grocery.... This could so easily have been my family. I was walking past our family synagogue one afternoon and found someone had drawnaswastika on the gate with a sharpie. It felt like someone had drawna target.
