Hi all! I’m curious, what is your favorite crying right at this moment? Mine has to be the breakdown in baby reindeer, where Robert Gadd is on stage, gasping and sobbing. It’s such a heartbreaking scene.

Share yours!

Ha yes, just because of timing, I think right now that is also my favorite scene as well. (Baby reindeer)

I'm blown away by his bravery and ability to relive everything and "go there". Which raises the question, is this considered "acting crying"? Or real life. 😳 Something to think about, I don't know there's any other situations to compare it to, just groundbreaking

The scene in 1883 where Isabel May plays the piano and cries a little. The music and the tears go well together, and while it fits the rest of the subject matter of the scene, I could be happy with just 5 minutes of her playing and crying and everything else cut out.

Oh goodness. There is too many to count!

My favourite crier Lisa Soberano has quite a few to choose from. And so does Kathryn Newton whose tears made The Society a great watch

For Kathryn there are two good ones, the first from episode six of The Society towards the end of the episode. She has one tear from each eye that wells over and sits bulbous on her lashes for a second or two before one falls then the next one falls. About three episodes later she has another great double tears

Lisa, I just can't decide, she just cries so beautifully. The way her tears stream down her face is just so perfect. If I had to choose my favourites are mostly when her hair is straight and tied back from her face but even so that still gives me several possibilities

Security will run you down hard
And I will lead them on a merry chase
