Watched this sci-fi show called "Travelers" on Netflix, the show was pretty meh, but some lovely crying from one of the main female characters. There aren't a  lot of scenes, but the few that are there are really good (esp in season 3).

Yes, that's right, couldn't have said it better myself. I still do feel some kind of emotional connection, like sympathy, even if it's not real tears, but yeah, onion tears vs emotional tears, doesn't really matter to me.

Fair enough, I guess my thinking was along the lines of crying generally involves tears, but tears aren't always caused by crying, but I still find them attractive irrespective of the cause.

Not sure whether this is legit or just hair-splitting, but I recently started wondering whether what I have is a fetish for tears and not specifically crying. I've noticed that when watching movies and tv shows, I'm more attracted to scenes that overtly show tears than scenes where the actress is just crying without much tears being seen on screen. Also, in a show I started watching recently, there are a couple of scenes where a female character puts in some kind eye drops which look like tears, and I found myself aroused even though it wasn't a crying scene. And only tears' TikTok collection only seems to reinforce that, many of the videos don't seem to show real crying, but I very much like the tears. Am I hair-splitting or is there a legit differentiation to be made between emotional crying and just tears for any reason?

That makes sense. Genre matters, I guess. I'm mostly into thrillers and recently sci-fi, which do have crying scenes, but like you said, there usually isn't a focus on tears. Blacklist and Manifest are pretty good for crying scenes, and I've recently started watching a show called Travelers which also has some good crying scenes, but they're usually not very long. Where do you find the non-English language shows, are they on Netflix or YouTube?

Btw, the tiktoks are insane, didn't know that what I thought was a cringe app (no offense to anyone who uses it) would be such a repository of crying videos!

Yikes, I've never seen anything like this before! I've checked out this site on and off for quite a while, but somehow I missed this. How do you have compilations from shows in different languages, do you watch them all or just use the seek bar to find possible crying scenes? I don't know if it's just me, but it seems to me like non-English language shows just seem to have more crying scenes than English shows, at least just judging by the videos on your channel, do you think that's true?

Oh, you track down every single crying scene of actresses you like? Do you have some kind of a collection somewhere? Or at least recommendations? You said you'd like to make a compilation of Nina Dobrev, is that like a video compilation or an album of screenshots or something? Have you made compilations of other actresses in the past? I'm very curious now.

I've seen screenshots and gifs and some small clips on youtube of her crying, so I do think she cries a fair bit. I also watched a bit of the spinoff show the legacies and there's a fair amount of crying in that, though it's pretty boring. So, I'm sure there'll be lots of crying in the vampire diaries. On that note, would you watch a boring show just for the crying scenes? I try to but don't because youtube is a great place to just try and look up some scenes without having to sit through long, dragged out episodes.

Hi, can't copy template due to being on mobile, sorry, so just a brief introduction.

I'm 28, male, been interested in female crying since childhood, especially in movies and TV shows. I'm quite introverted and don't interact much with people, so haven't seen too many girls cry in-person, especially since becoming an adult, but I definitely like seeing a good female crying scene, especially if there are lots of tears. Been stalking this site on and off for a few years, hadn't been thinking about it recently but suddenly it came up on my radar again and so I joined.

Some shows with lots of female crying:

Manifest: regular crying from the cast, the main character, supporting characters, and minor characters all have at least one crying scene

Thirteen: main character sheds a lot of tears in a few episodes

Blacklist: lots of crying in the first couple of seasons from main female character, she cries in other seasons too but not as much

Pretty Little Liars: most female characters cry throughout the show

Orphan Black: at least one of the main characters (played by the same woman) cries on pretty much an episode by episode basis

Reign: the female lead cries a lot from start to finish, other female characters cry too
