Emily's POV

I arrive for work the next day, and just as I start to change my boots for my work shoes Isabel comes in looking a little tired but happy

'Hey bestie' I greeted unzipping my left boot. 'You texted Allison then'

'Yes I did' she confirmed. 'I had the best night' Tears began running down her cheeks and she sat down beside me as I unzipped my right boot and changed into my work shoes

'She met in her favourite restaurant' Isabel explained, as she wiped her tears. 'After we had a meal we just went for a walk. A long walk, I haven't been to bed yet. We parted shortly before six and I came straight here.'

'Tell me she kissed you goodbye' I demanded. Isabel nodded, another round of tears running down her cheeks

'It was the most amazing kiss you could imagine'

It was my turn to cry, my tears streaming down my face. I gave her a friendly hug.

'I'm so glad you've found someone and your happy' I told her. We parted the hug, wiped away our tears, then I zipped up my boots, put them in my locker and we both went into work

Enid's POV

Melissa felt she needed to explain further, but I told her that everything was fine and I understood completely.

We had a nice dinner again in the restaurant and went over our options for the next day. Since we had spent a little too much on the helicopter trip, we opted to just take a bus to the next town along and explore that instead

Kate's POV

Berlin was so lovely. After me and Rachel completed our full network challenge, we discovered that the following day was Ascension Day meaning very few places would be open

'Don't worry, the public transport will still be running' Rachel said. 'Let's just explore the city from that'

And that's just what we did. Some of the places we went to were just so perfect I couldn't stop tears from running down my cheeks

We managed to find a Burger King for our tea and then planned what we were going to do for the next day.

My two best friends and my sister sent me messages too asking how I was doing. Caitlin asked if I wanted to go back to Boston for Christmas just the two of us, as Robyn was going to Amboise to be with Susan and Marie

'I would love to' I texted back, tears streaming down my face and soaking into my cardigan.

Robyn's POV

Me and Caitlin managed to find a place for me to live in Oxford which was near my girlfriend's lodgings

Then a couple of days later, we had had our annual movie marathon from Caitlin's movie collection she was building with Millie. Kate looked after us just like last year dressed in her butlers uniform. She was so happy that the long distance portion of our relationship had come to an end.

After we had waved her and Rachel off to Germany for their latest adventure, we met up with Caitlin's mum and step dad for dinner.

I was a little nervous as I hadn't met them before, but I convinced them how special their daughter was and how important she was to me.

I had also had time to submit my application to Teacher training college and was crossing my fingers that I would get in

I was acclimatising quite well to life in England. However in the back of my mind I knew September would be a little strange, as I would be without my two best friends. In their recent letters they were enjoying their summer. Marie was setting herself up so she could work at her fathers winery on the business side and Susan was looking for a suitable law firm.

I began to look forward to Christmas when we would meet again

Enid's POV

Me and Melissa thoroughly enjoyed our helicopter ride. The view was so lovely it was hardly surprising that both of us  had tears running down our cheeks.

When we landed we went back to our hotel, deciding to have a swim in the pool before tea.

It was when we got back that Melissa cautiously told me, she didn't want to continue our secret relationship.

'It doesn't feel right' she said, her eyes filling with tears. 'Me cheating on Lisa, you cheating on Tristan. I shouldn't have suggested it, it was very wrong of me'

One of her tears leaked out of her left eye and streamed down her face

'Please forgive me' she finished. My own eyes filled with tears now.

'Of course I do' I said softly. 'And you are right, it isn't correct of us to cheat. If Robyn was here she would be very angry with me, as she went through so much for three years having her long distance relationship and never once considered cheating on her partner'

Melissa nodded, as another tear streamed  down her face.

We shook hands agreeing to the end of our secret arrangement and went down to the pool

Melissa's pov:

After thinking for a bit Enid decided she wanted to go on a helicopter tour. I happily booked one that took us on a tour of the active volcanoes on the big island. It was an afternoon tour, however, so we decided to go souvenir shopping for our spouses first. I felt a little guilty buying Lisa something as I was currently cheating on her with Enid, but I didn't want to ruin her vacation by mentioning this so I just stayed silent as we shopped.

After a bit Enid and I headed back to the hotel to drop off our souvenirs and freshen up a bit before making our way to the helipad for our flight. We made it just in time. I let Enid step in before I did even being the perfect, although pretend, girlfriend as I held her hand to help her in. She smiled at me clearly excited before taking me off guard my whispering "I love you" as we both sat down.

Enid's POV

Melissa's eyes filled with tears and she began to kiss me passionately on the lips.

Our helicopter pilot gently reminds us that we needed to take off, so we both stop kissing and get buckled in for our journey over the volcanoes

Isabel's pov:

I was gushing excitedly to tell Emily about my singles night but when I went into work I found out she had taken the day off so as soon as I finished my shift I quickly took out my phone and texted her that it was a wonderful time; and that I had even met someone. I asked her if I could stop by to discuss details and before I even got a response I was driving to her house.

As soon as Emily let me in we both got comfortable on her couch and I began uploading every detail about the previous evening.

"I really wasn't expecting to meet someone I just figured it'd be a nice time out, but shortly after I sat down this really cute woman (tall, blond hair, brown eyes) came up to me and asked me if she could buy me a drink. I happily accepted. We got to chatting and I found out her name was Alison and she was from the city. After a couple drinks I told her about my dating history and I felt like this club was my last chance to find a real good girlfriend. She responded by giving me her number so we could have a " real proper date" sometime."

I stopped talking long enough to hear what Emily had to say...

Emily's POV

Isabel had clearly been looking forward to telling me about her date, as she happily told me about Allison.

'I'm so happy for you, truly' I told her  after her narrative, giving her a friendly touch on the shoulder. Tears began streaming down my face and I wiped them away a little embarrassed.

'You should go out a proper date' I urged. 'You should text her when you get home, don't miss out'

'I won't' Isabel said softly. Her eyes began to fill with tears and she gave me a friendly hug. When she broke apart one of her tears had overflowed her lash, but just sat below her left eye not falling

'You've been a great friend, Em' she continued. Her tear decided to run slowly down her left cheek. 'Being your best friend is so nice'

I was grateful for her kind words and some more tears ran down my cheeks. Although I

Jessica's POV

It was lovely staying at Lucy and Hannah’s for our honeymoon. Me and my wife did feel guilty at not helping out with anything but our hostesses told us not to worry.

We did notice Sadie's picture on the sideboard and we asked Hannah how she and Lucy knew her.

'She's our cousin' she explained, tears running down her cheeks. 'What she's going through with her mum is horrible. My parents don't speak to her anymore. Me and Lucy married in secret because we didn't think our relationship would be recognised'

More tears streamed down her face

'Mum and Dad were really upset and disappointed.' She sobbed. 'They wanted to come so much, if only we had asked...'

She tailed off and me and Jennifer hugged her tightly as tears ran down our cheeks

Melissa's pov:

We are finally ready to turn in for the night and we decide its better to sleep in separate beds so even the cleaning staff don't become aware of our secret. Sometime during the night I hear the ringing of Enid's phone. Seeming it is almost midnight I disregard it and fall back to sleep. A few hrs later her phone rings again. This time she answers it. I decide to get in the shower before breakfast as she has her phone conversation. I can only hear her side of the conversation.

"Yeah I'm having a wonderful time...No we're not in Texas...Your sister surprised me with a trip to Hawaii and it was the middle of the night when you called earlier...We had a lovely stroll along the beach last night...We're about to have breakfast... Thanks, love."

Soon after I get out of the shower. I noticed Enid had tears running down her face. I did what only a loving girlfriend would do and tenderly wiped them away with the backs of my fingers before giving her a kiss on her lips. I then informed her I had ordered us room service for breakfast. I was trying to make this the most memorable vacation she'd ever have.

Curiosity then got the best of me when I asked Enid if she had gotten up last night. She explained that she got thirsty and went to the drink machine. After that we ate mostly in silence.

Nearing the end of our meal I asked Enid "Since this is your dream/relaxation vacation what would you like to do today?"

I thought for a bit and asked if we could do a helicopter tour having done a brief read about them on our way here

Melissa enthusiastically agreed and booked us two seats on the Circle of Fire tour that took us on a tour of the active volcanoes on the Big Island.

We managed to get seats on an afternoon flight and passed the morning visiting the surrounding area and scouting gift shops for souvenirs for our partners back home

I did feel a little guilty when I paid for Tristan's given that I was cheating on him with h

Enid's POV

I'm awoken by my phone ringing. It's Tristan. I answer it immediately and tears fill my eyes as I hear my husband's voice. Despite my secret relationship with Melissa (and even more secret relationship with Grace), I did miss him loads

He asks me if I'm having fun and my tears begin running down my cheeks. I tell him we are in Hawaii, we had a stroll down the beach last night and we were about to have breakfast

He asks me if I'm crying and I said I was.

'I'll have to imagine your tear streaked face' he said wistfully  'You do look lovely when you cry'

I thanked him. Tristan then said I should enjoy the rest of my holiday and he hung up. Melissa came out of the shower and tenderly wiped my tears away and we kissed on the lips.

'I've ordered us room service breakfast' she said. 'Did you get up last night'. I said I did

'I went down to the drinks machine, I felt thirsty'

Melissa thankfully didn't know about Grace. I hoped she would leave me alone for the rest of my trip
