What exactly is this 'lip curl' thing?

People here talk about the lip curl, mostly in the context of women crying. I cannot figure out what that means. Do men do this too? And can we get some pictorial examples up in here?

You hear it in the context of women because I'm the only one with this interest (and to some extent carrotcake), and I like it in women. Men obviously do it too. It's when the bottom lip curls downwards and sort of sticks out when crying, pulling the chin upwards. You'll see this in children a lot, but I like it when women do it.
