Can anyone here point me toward any movie or TV scenes involving a male character crying and another male character comforting him? Because I honestly can't think of any myself: usually these kinds or scenes involve a female character comforting a male, or vice versa. Does anyone know of any with two men?

I recall an episode of Breaking Bad where Walter lets Jesse cry on his shoulder, damned if I know which one.
The scene at the end of LOTR: ROTK between Frodo and Sam counts. "If I could've married anyone, it would've been her." Also, when Frodo sets sail for Valinor.

What about the famous one from "Good Will Hunting?", aka "It's not your fault."

It's the last episode of the second season.
Also he comforts him again in the first or second episode of the 5th season
And there's some in the links for the show discussed here:

I'd never seen the movie before, but I just watched the scene. I've never been too fond of Matt Damon, but Robin Williams (may he rest in peace) does a very nice job comforting him.
In the past, the closest thing to a male-male crying and comforting scene I could have come up with is the scene from Schindler's List known as "I could have got more." As Liam Neeson (Schindler) is breaking down, Ben Kingsley (Stern) attempts to put his arms around him -- though the difference in height between the two actors makes the moment look somewhat awkward.
Edited to add: Actually, there was another male-male comforting scene I knew of; it occurs in the 1981 short film The Wave, which was made to teach about the dangers of conformity that led to the Holocaust (like me, some of you may have watched The Wave in school). At the end of the film, the teacher who taught the lesson finds a student crying, puts his arm around him to comfort him, and walks with him out the door. Now, the crying student is not a very admirable character, so I don't feel much sympathy for him; the teacher, on the other hand, is very kind and big-hearted, IMO, to take the time to console him. Fast forward to 45:00 of this video and watch it until it ends:

Hello White Tulip - and everyone on this thread! Below are a number of scenes I have found with men comforting men. Some of them are a bit long, and a few of them have more than one crying scene in a clip, so I urge you to watch the whole clip. In quite a few of these, however, I have found that many of these clips have the crying towards the end, if that helps any.
Here are the two Walt and Jesse scenes you guys are talking about...
Also, here are a few more men comforting men scenes I love - enjoy!!
SO - which ones did you like? Any faves? Let me know your thoughts!

Haha! In the first Breaking Bad link, the poster has put the description of the video as: "Jesse Crying- Fucking Sexy" and then in the comments section someone wrote: The description - "fucking sexy."
How even?, this shit is depressing! " to which the reply was " Some weird fetish he has?? Lol...the suffering, depression fetish!"
And my story for the Good Will Hunting it's not your fault scene:
We had to watch that movie my senior year for some class (what we were supposed to be learning from it, I can't remember)
I'm not much of a Matt Damon fan and was fairly ambivalent about watching most of the movie, then that scene came on and I was like, transfixed. I remmeber some kid in the class going "whoa, he's really crying..."
Then I suddenly had to go rent the movie for a few more watches still didnt know I wasnt the only one

Thanks so much for sharing all these amazing clips!
When I was about 13 or so I was completely obsessed with Dead Poets Society -- I recorded it off the TV and I used to watch that scene over and over again, despite having absolutely no idea why I liked it so much.
Also: Squonk posted this nice male-male comforting scene from Burnt a few months ago.
