"The Twilight Zone" (Donald Pleasence)

At last, it's back on Youtube!  One of the most touching of all classic Twilight Zone episodes, "The Changing of the Guard," has much crying from British actor Donald Pleasence as an elderly teacher who's being forced to retire.  Two of the most notable moments start around 10:25 and 25:57:

Very sad episode.  And Donald Pleasence was a wonderful actor.  Too bad most only know him for Halloween.

Climbing to a high chamber in a well of houses, he threw himself down in his clothes on a neglected bed, and its pillow was wet with wasted tears. -- A Tale of Two Cities

It's one of my favorite Zone episodes of all time, partly because I'm an English teacher myself.  Donald Pleasence is ideal in the lead, his crying so very touching and believable.

Edited to add:  I thought I'd point out that Pleasence was actually only in his 40's when he filmed this episode; he was wearing makeup to look older.
