We have both been under a lot of pressure lately, multiple factors, so, leaving details aside, my wife called me to go to her (I was in the living room, she was in our room, I went up, she wanted to talk to me, the conversation was very emotional, I started to tear up a bit, I pinched my eyes to prevent tears falling, she started crying as well, she continued talking, her voice became a bit wavy and her lips turned downside ): I initiated a hug, we hugged and a fresh wave of tears hit me without me being able to stop them, since I was hugging my wife, I allowed them to fall unchecked down my cheeks (a single streak from each eye, one down the middle and another one closer to the inner corner).

When we broke the hug I wiped a few tears from my wife's cheeks, and she wiped wiped a tear from my left cheek.
We started kissing, I gently wiped a stray tear from her face every now and then and we had the best sex we have had in a long time.
