Now that it's finally happening, who's looking forward to some crying athletes? Any favourites you're looking out for? I don't seem to know a lot of them this year, but I've got a small list.
I'm hoping Jade Jones (UK) will finally cry this year. Hopefully more crying from her fellow tae kwon do athlete Bianca Walkden (UK). If Simone Manuel (US) can do another bulgy-lipped cry that would be nice. Also looking out for Liz Parnov (USA) if she gets in to compete.

Just checked her out, she is cute, has she cried in the olympics before?

Not long to go now till the start on Wednesday
Yes I know the 'opening' ceremony is on Friday, but the action starts on Wednesday. That makes it Day 1 for me and the 'official' Day 1 is actually Day 4
The paralympics don't go for any of this nonsense!

There was a nice picture of her sobbing, lip curled and all, but I can't find that now. Googles has a few of her crying pics.
Also keeping an eye out for Federica Pellegrini, as this is her last olympics.

I wouldn't dare to declare her the world's sexiest athlete because I haven't seen them all, but she is quite good looking, I even watched a video of her in a race with a soccer player, she looks stunning as she jiggles her thighs in a warmup after the race.

I remember the first time I noticed an Olympian cry. It was Alexei Yagudin, 2002 mens figure skating gold medalist, and after his long program, he was totally crying as they read the scores.
(Since then, it seems like the cameras have gotten more intrusive. Look, I enjoy seeing men cry, but when it comes to actual real life people, not fictional characters, I vote cameras maybe DON'T get all up in someone's face when they're crying, but stay a respectful distance. Real people shouldn't be subjected to cameras being shoved in their face when they're cryinig unless they're actors getting paid for it.
