Hi all,
So, I am not sure if anyone is seeing all of my many posts of men crying, because there haven't really been any responses to them. I really want to hear what you think of them! So please comment away!
Now, as promised, there were far too many of these to put in the male crying vids thread, so I had to start a new topic. There are a lot of Broadway/Theatre scenes, so I may need 3-4 posts to get them all up here. There are a lot of duplicate songs and scenes - but all with different actors and how they perform the role, so I urge you to watch each one. Live crying, sobbing and screaming is amazing! Enjoy.
**THIS POST IS ONLY THE MUSICAL, SPRING AWAKENING - "THOSE YOU'VE KNOWN"**
OK, first - the ones who started all the many versions of this: Jonathan Groff, Lea Michele and John Gallagher, Jr. in Spring Awakening. Beautiful song, too. Background - Melchior (Groff) has just lost his best friend, Moritz, to suicide, and his girlfriend, Wendla, who was pregnant with his child. She was forced by her parents to have an abortion (she was 13) and died of anemia (too much blood loss during the procedure). He finds her tomb, because he was unaware she had died, and completely loses it. Moritz and Wendla, as spirits, come to him to talk him out of suicide as well.
- (Broadway version)
- (Pre-Broadway)
2. London cast - Melchior is Aneurin Barnard. Some of the video is dark while he breaks down, but comes back toward the end of it. If you are like me, and love hearing the sobbing and crying - he is perfect for that!
