The Smoke series - Taron Egerton and Jamie Bamber
Both actors have plenty of emotional moments in this series but I think this scene ( Ep 1.6) particularly stands out among them. Taron Egerton plays the role of a young firefighter who accidentaly causes a very serious incident. He confesses his crime to his coworker's girlfriend and he breaks down sobbing. His tears only come out in the last act but I love that he really goes all the way with crying in almost all of them. There are overall 3 distinct crying scenes and Jamie Bamber is also on the verge of crying in the last one).

In episode 1.4 Jamie Bamber has an emotional scene in which his character breaks up with his girlfriend. He appears on the verge of crying, being choked up for 4 minutes straight. The only problem with this scene is that it's cut out just when the sobbing gets going.
