Wife/Aunt
Date: 04 June 2014
Time: 8.50pm
Duration: 2 - 3 minutes
Reason for crying: My wife and her aunt (from Canada) met after 3 years. They are very close.
Location: Train station
Crying intensity: Intense from my wife. She hugged her and buried her face on her shoulders. Her body was only shaking at first, then you could hear sobbing sounds. The aunt (very attractive despite being 40+) only shed tears. My wife had her back to me so I could see her face clearly the whole time. I think at least 3 - 4 whole tears rolled down her cheeks. They were slightly mascara-ridden.
Reaction to tears: They both ignored them while they were hugging. They wiped them off soon after.
Lip curled? Yes. After letting go of her aunt she turned to hug her uncle. I got a full view of her face and her bottom lip was doing a small-medium sized bulge, with her mouth slightly open.
People present: Me, my dad and my wife's uncle.
I actually wanted to see her aunt cry for a long time, as I knew her since I was a child. It's too bad she didn't cry harder. Like I said, she's a very beautiful woman despite her age.

Wife:
Date: 09 June 2014
Time: Morning
Duration: Unsure, 2 - 3 minutes with me present
Reason for crying: She woke up with a bad pain on her right shoulder joints. The cause is most likely due to the way she slept, and a vitamin D deficiency (doctor's words). The pain gradually got intolerable and she started to cry.
Location: Bedroom
Crying intensity: Soft before I entered the bedroom. I found her lying on the bed with her face buried in the pillow. I turned her to her back and saw tears flooding freely. Then she started sobbing loudly before I calmed her down.
Reaction to tears: She let them fall while she was sobbing. I wiped some of the tears during that time.
Lip curled? Yes. With every sob her bottom lip bulged quite large, and then she immediately pull it into her teeth - though the lip stayed curled. This was repeated the whole time she sobbed.
People present: Me

I've noticed that since this thread has been pushed there have been far fewer obs posted in the forum. I thought this thread was supposed to be to track our own crying but it seems that puerile are using it to report all crying events. Which us a shame never while this provides interesting data, the party's Herr don't provide much detail as to the actual experience of crying or seeing others.

Indeed this is correct. This thread should only be recording the crying of the poster themselves and their SO's. Any other obs' should be mentioned in a new thread.

@inmyarms: You can always ask for more details if you want. Tearhunter seems to have disappeared so I'm not sure this thread is going to be useful for data collection anymore Nevermind, he's still here.
Wife obs: She has been away for about a month. We were talking over webcam.
Date: 5 August 2014
Time: 14:00
Duration: 10 minutes over the course of an hour
Reason for Crying: Things haven't been going her way, and she was exhausted.
Location: Im home, she's in Italy.
Crying Intensity: Tears down face and sobbing.
Reaction to Tears: She still had makeup on when the tears started. As soon as she noticed the mascara tears she swore and went off to wash her face. When she got back she was crying a little harder, and quickly wiped each tear as it fell down her cheek.
Lip curled?: She was talking most of the time, and when she paused to sob she turned away and put the back of her hand over her mouth. So probably yes, but I didn't see it.
People Present: Just us

Sorry, guys - still around, just mega busy - please keep posting here. I'm hoping things will calm down in a few weeks - couple of observations I need to post. As well as analyse the data posted on this thread.
I keep reading posts when I can - can't always login because I'm using other computers but I'm never far away.
