David Tennant: Recovery

Three powerful scenes from the heartbreaking BBC film "Recovery," in which David Tennant plays a man trying to recover from a traumatic brain injury that has changed him completely (and devastated his family).
The first is of him before his accident, moved to tears by a beautiful Paul Weller song (which is significant in the last scene), and being comforted by his wife: (starts at the beginning)

The second shows his frustration and rage at being unable to play a children's game, and then his tearful remorse: (Starts at 7:27)

This one is from the end, as he tries to reconnect with his wife: (starts at 8:30, won't play directly here, but the"watch on YouTube" link should work.)

Climbing to a high chamber in a well of houses, he threw himself down in his clothes on a neglected bed, and its pillow was wet with wasted tears. -- A Tale of Two Cities

Thank you, Squonk!

Say, do you happen to know which episode of Recovery is this gif from?
(Or is it from Doctor Who?)

Re: David Tennant: Recovery

I just LOVE him so much. Thanks for posting!

Sakura, that's from the first episode of Single Father. That scene is fantastic -- it's near the end of the episode.
