There are LOTS of tears in this powerful movie. Mostly Mark Ruffalo and Matt Bomer, but it seems almost everyone gets at least teary at some point. Excellent, heartbreaking film. (No YouTube clips yet.)

Thanks for posting! I just saw the film and there really is a lot of crying.
Have you seen the film "behind the red door"? It is about HIV as well and there ist a nice crying scene with Kiefer Sutherland. He is sitting on the bed tries to convince his sister to help him, because he has HIV and he remembers the death of his friend, where some strangers nursed him and not the family.

I saw Matt Bomer in American Horror Story: Freak Show. (I'm obsessed with AHS and talk about it a lot, haha.) He had a very small part and didn't cry (tbh he doesn't really do it for me anyway). Isn't Finn Wittrock in The Normal Heart as well? He's in Freak Show and while he's not my usual type, he's rather hot! His cry scenes are very pretty, especially since he's privileged/psycho, two things that make teary scenes sweeter for me.
I'm not sure I want to see The Normal Heart, though. I avoid very sad things because I have a mental block and can't really cry, so instead I just get awfully depressed by them. I get stomach pains and stuff for days after. It's not fun.

Wellcome Super-Secret!
Finn Wittrock playes Albert, can't really tell you, if he has a crying scene in the normal heart because I was more focussed on Bomer and Ruffalo (he dies), but there are youtube scenes now from the film in the video section

I'll have to check those out! And thanks for the welcome.
Sure got my fill of FW crying on AHS Wednesday night, though! It was gorgeous. Le sigh.
