I just had a marathon watching of the T.V. show The Killing. One of the characters - male police detective - has this incredibly sad scene. In the show someone has been killed and he is overcome with guilt and completely breaks down sitting on the sofa next to his partner - a woman. It pulled at me so much because she just sat there and might have rubbed his back a little. I would not be strong enough to sit next to a man that good looking and NOT want to take him in my arms and hold him and say soothing things while he let it all out.

I remember that scene but it was kind if a tease cuz he kept his head down.

True - watching him full on would have been preferable. It was enough for me to see his face twisted a little and hear him sobbing. Also to imagine holding him while he cried - in my imagination it was a long time as he gasped to try to stop crying and shook and clung to me and got my neck and clothes saturated.

Did you watch penny dreadful? There was a scene I think on the series finally where sir Malcolm was full on and it was beautiful.

I haven't seen Penny Dredful ....no cable so only Netflix or Redbox. I will keep an eye out for it. I am so obsessed - I wish I could have a movie made of all the TV/ movie scenes with men crying that I love. I know where and how to find most of them but they are so spread out.
What are some of your absolute go to scenes ?
