Tess of the Durbivilles- whole lotta crying.

I just watched this bbc mini series from 2008. First of all I have to say o don't know why anyone would right such a thing. It's is the most depressing hopeless bleak story I have ever encountered. It's not bittersweet, like les mis or.something. the while series it's nothing but a series of calamities. Magnificently and effectively performed, mind you, I cried plenty myself as well.

But in any case for those of you who like pretty girls crying, the lead catcher tess is played by one if the midst beautiful girls I have ever seen on screen and from about half way through the first episode till the end of the series she is crying almost non stop. Mostly the kind that tearhunter would like. You can follow the path of each tear often with great camera close ups.  A few times she has a nice lip curl going.

In the last two episodes there are some great scenes with eddie redmayne, who played marius in the les mis film and is an epic male cryer, and he does it brilliantly.

Tearhunter, you especially I think would find this series to be eye candy. Maybe watch it with the wife and you can get her tears thrown in free.

Yes, Gemma Arterton is a good lip curler, and gorgeous to boot.
