The dacryphilia research paper

Some of you will remember that a while back a fellow called Richard Greenhill requested participants to interview for an article on dacryphilia. All the participants (I think) are from this forum (eight altogether). About two months ago I was informed by Richard Greenhill that the article is now on the submission process on various journals. A few days ago I think I came upon the finished article while randomly searching "dacryphlia" and "lips" on google. The only problem is that you can't read it unless you're a researcher. I hope there will be a chance for the participants at least to get access to the article in the future as it should be an interesting read. At any rate, this is the preview:

Re: The dacryphilia research paper

I 'm so happy to see this was published at one point, isn't really any site where it can be read all?

It can be bought in this site: http://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/19317611.2015.1013596#.VR_QfuEYEQI

But the cost on my side is 30 euros

Re: The dacryphilia research paper

Hi TorNorth and psychic_girl,

The journal article has indeed finally been accepted! The copy that Mark has posted on that website is in fact the proofs (which is the penultimate version - I still needed to address a few corrections). I have now submitted the corrected proofs and am waiting for the journal to let me know that it has been published. To be honest, I can't give a specific time frame, as this whole process has taken a while and we haven't been given anything specific by the journal. I would hope within the next few weeks though.

Once the article is published and I receive a final copy, I will email this out to all of the participants! I will also post a thread on here and email any interested Crying Lovers members with a copy. Unfortunately, owing to copyright issues, I wouldn't be able to post a copy directly on here.

Hope you're both well.

Richard

Hiya. I'm doing well myself. That's certainly encouraging news! Looking forward to reading the final piece, and congratulations again that it was accepted.

Wish I could have gotten the chance to be in it. Can't wait to read it!

Re: The dacryphilia research paper

Hi all,

Further to my previous post, I can now confirm that I have a final version of the dacryphilia research paper! I have already emailed the study participants with a copy of the paper. If anyone else is interested in reading the paper (or if I have emailed you on an old email address), let me know on this thread or via private message and I will send you a copy.

I am quite keen to hear any questions, thoughts and feedback, so please get in touch once you have read the paper.

Thanks again to everyone who participated!

Richard

Re: The dacryphilia research paper

Hi TorNorth,

Sorry, I should have made that clearer - this is the final version that has now been published in the International Journal of Sexual Health.

Thanks,

Richard

Re: The dacryphilia research paper

Would it be possible to maybe just post up short highlights of interesting parts on here?
