I was once again becoming worried about our finances. Tristan was discussing new additions to the shop with Mirabelle, and I wondered if he had considered the cost of all of this.

Not only that, the cheaper chocolate powder at our second outlet at Jarrod's school hadn't been a success. In fact it had flopped badly. Not many students were ordering from the shop anymore and it was hemorrhaging money. They preferred the more expensive stuff it seemed.

Emily came over with my coffee. She had chosen to wear the blue skirt again today. It was the third time she had worn it. The girls hadn't been wearing the new uniform for long, but I admit I really loved it too. Emily and Isabel looked really beautiful in it.

'Are you okay?' she asked worried about me.

'I hope so' I admitted. A single tear ran down Emily's left cheek. However not wanting to pry, she left me to it.

That evening I told Tristan we needed to talk about our second outlet and how badly it was doing since our changes to the cheaper chocolate

Tristan’s POV:

One evening Enid and I talk about our booth in Massachusetts, she tells me our cheaper chocolate is not working, I reply: “My love, to be honest, I believe people know us for our quality products and the best flavors, I don’t know if we can make a survey about what the students at Jarrod’s school want, I think we could make things fresh with boba tea or with just frappes and smoothies, but only the best quality.”

Jen brought over a cup of hot chocolate for us both. After giving my partner a tender kiss on the lips, we drank in silence as tears began running down our cheeks
