I just rewatched Twin Peaks and realized that there actually is a lot of crying. I thought my memory playing tricks on me but.. no? There really are crying scenes constantly. Some scenes honestly shocked me because they were so intense and unfiltered.
David Lynch has also said that he’s big on people crying, for both men and women. I also read that he was very in touch with his feelings and cried easily.
Do you guys think that he was one of us??? Or is that a widely known fact? I know that nobody knows for sure (except for him) but what are ur guys theories?

Depends on how one would qualify 'one of us' but it sure seems possible.
I also have questions about Krysten Ritter, what with her interview where she talks about shooting the scene where Jesse cries trying to revive her, and she says "I could feel his hot tears falling on me'.
Like, in context shes describing the intensity and stuff, not indicating that she enjoyed it at all, but... that's really evocative language about experiencing someone else's tears, and if I were doing an interview and I said something about someone crying, I'd attempt to frame it as intense as opposed to anything I remotely enjoyed. *shrug*

I've heard of Twin Peaks, but now I'm intrigued. You say there are lots of crying, is it female crying?

There is a LOT of female crying. I think there’s at least more than five female crying scenes in the first episode. all the scenes vary from tears to hysterical, sobbing outbursts. I highly recommend!!!!

Now I'm definitely interested. I know that the Remedy games, particularly Alan Wake 2, are said to have drawn inspiration from Twin Peaks, hence my initial interest in it, guess I should check it out for the tears.
