Adrien and Hayden play brothers, both of them doing a sketchy rendition of regional American accents. 

In this scene Adrien tells Hayden about a trauma he endured in prison.

Here Adrien is I think trying to pump his brother up, but they both look kinda sad and maybe a little desperate. Adrien is near tears for much of the scene, Hayden's' eyes are wet, and a couple tears run down his face too.

Nice find, i didn't know about the last scene though. Hayden Christiansen is such a cute crier .
