My wife went through a phase where she wanted me to have a mascara-streaked face, so I played around with a few brands. I found that theater face paint makes the best streaks most easily.

Wow, I find it quite amusing that your wife is not into tears, yet, she asked you to have black streaks. I can only guess you must haved looked beautiful with several tear streaks on your face.
