Is there a name for the facial expression when someone cries?

So I got a chance to feel my partners face when she was close to crying and I noticed the corner of her lips pulled back for a few seconds then they moved back forward. Does this have a name and is it normal?

I've heard it referred to as a sort of grimace sometimes.

Convulsive rictus maybe

''I like crying. And now I not only wanna cry and show my crying to other people, I wanna just split myself down the middle and open my guts and just throw everything out!''
