I'm an agnostic in that regard. I knew someone who claimed her father fought a female spirit whose hair was twenty feet long. I'd have liked to see that.

With their fist. He grabbed her hair and tore it off.

And how does one differentiate between spirit hair and person hair?

I've dreamed about dead people...never seen one when I was awake, not as I can recollect.  My mother swore she saw my father in our yard about twenty years after he passed, but the doctor said she was just hallucinating from high blood pressure.  I've had my share of blood pressure troubles, but I never saw a dead person or their ghost.

I have to try really hard NOT to believe. I don't want to believe in ghosts, I want to be super rational and scientific all the time, and I think a good number of ghost encounters have natural explanations, but I also think it's arrogant to say we know what does or does not happen after death.

It is such a secret place, the land of tears.
