As someone who thinks tears are really beautiful, I don't really have a sexual attraction to tears. When I see a girl cry, whether in person or on TV or Youtube, I get this feeling of like satisfaction, the kind you get watching some of those so called "satisfying" videos online. Seeing tears come out of a girl's eyes give me the same kind of feeling with almost no sexual feelings unless the girl is very attractive. Sure, this feeling is not alone, if someone is sad or if I'm watching a sad scene, I feel sympathy and sadness too, but that's not what I mean, I'd feel that even without my liking for tears. Can anyone else relate to this? Or do you have a different reason for liking tears?

3 obs at the same time! I've hardly had 3 obs in the last couple of years, lol! That's insane.

Haha, lol! Some of the girls I'm friends with are quite the criers.

I love that you just cried openly when you felt like it. Thank you for this obs.

My favorite thing about this is that your teammates didn't treat you any differently when you cried. I know when I was in middle/high school, girls could cry all they want, but if a guy cried, it would become a negative part of his public reputation forever and nobody would let him forget it.

I'm curious if it's different now. In your current peer group, do guys cry unabashedly in front of each other or in front of girls? Have you noticed any stigma toward emotional guys?

It's me from a new account as I lost my password. To answer your question, guys, including me, don't cry that often in front of people, this was a rare exception, but when someone does cry, they usually have a good reason for it, and while there would always be some morons making fun, there would also be those who are supportive and empathetic, so it's not all that bad. I also haven't seen that many guys cry outside of competitive sporting and academic circles, and these are generally acceptable circles for anyone who loses (especially in big finals against rival schools) to cry, at least in my culture. That said, different places have different cultures too, so this is just my experience.

Hey, it's me, tears are beautiful, I lost my password so I had to register again. I have been thinking about my attraction to tears quite a bit in the last couple of weeks, though, and I don't think it's actually a sexual fetish. I say this because if I don't feel that a girl is attractive without tears, and don't think she's attractive with tears either, and if I think a girl is attractive in general, I can appreciate her looks with or without tears, and appreciating someone's looks isn't even inherently sexual imo. And it's not like I particularly feel aroused or anything when I see a girl in tears, whether irl or on tv, on the rare occasion I might, but it's so random and rare that it's probably not even the tears. However, I still do think tears, that is the water that comes out of your eyes while crying, do make a girl's eyes and face look really beautiful. I watched a lot of the videos you guys have posted, I didn't even realise that YouTube would be such a repository of crying videos. But what I noticed in watching the videos is that as beautiful as most of them were, and I thoroughly enjoyed them, especially some of the foreign language ones, I didn't really feel sexually aroused or anything. I don't know if anyone else can relate.
