Laura's POV

... the dice on the floor as I wasn't expecting Tristan to resume our game of footsie.

Mum glared at us a little so we calmed down the PDA and continued to play.

About fifteen minutes later Mum had acquired the two expensive properties and built two houses on both. Tristan was unlucky to land on one of them and mulled over his options to pay the large rent

Re: Movie night

Tristan's POV:

I smile as I feel Laura's leg tremble as she gets startled when she feels my skin brushing hers under the table. She throws the dice on the floor and her mun stares suspiciously at us. I slowly bring my leg back to my place and wait for my turn.

I land on her mum's expensive property, I end up paying all my cash, I can't afford another one of those unless they fall on my properties first.

The hour is almost up...

Re: Movie night

Laura's POV

Luckily he would get his $200 salary on his next go. At least that's what I thought. He got a reduced amount after landing on income tax

The clock continued to countdown and a few minutes later I made everybody jump.

'Four minutes and look they're almost together!!' I declared excitedly. This was perfectly true as both Tristan and Mum were directly behind themselves.

My next throw unfortunately put me on one of Tristan's red properties

Re: Movie night

Tristan's POV:

Laura handed me a decent amount of cash to survive the last round, I had to decide if I spent it placing hotels in the properties (Laura's mom would pass through there) or save it to try to survive the last round.

I decide ro place hotels as, anyways, I wouldn't be able to afford landing in the expensive Park Place and Boardwalk set.

The last turns are here, her mum throws...

Re: Movie night

Sadie's POV

I was so excited about having a job and working with Helen and Natalie that I never considered that it might not actually happen. Unfortunately Jan had been  convinced by Mr Stay In His Office, that he was prepared to change his ways and work on the floor more. The girls told me in person  and they were upset too.

'You don't deserve this' Natalie told me tears running down her cheeks. 'You were brilliant the other day, we loved working with you.'

'He's not going to change!' Helen declared who also had tears running down her cheeks. 'We know he'll go back to being lazy in a few weeks.'

It was nice to have their endorsement and after they both wiped away their tears and gave me a hug each, they left my apartment

I had managed to keep it together but when they left a tear escaped from my left eye and streamed down my face.

Re: Movie night

Gemma's POV

I didn't go straight home. I intended to, but decided when I landed in Boston to take a flight to Washington DC to see my best friend Frank.

We'd been at school together and we became friends when we had to do a science project and I had come out to him as a lesbian. He'd kept my secret from everyone at school and I was able to graduate and (luckily) not be expelled for being gay.

When I had checked myself in to my hotel, I took off my boots in my room and gave him a call.

He was pleased to hear from me and asked if I wanted to come and see his new pad.

'Would that be okay?' I said. Frank told me it was fine and that he'd send a car for me. When I protested and said I'd take a taxi he insisted.

'I've wanted to request a car for somebody for weeks' he said. 'Where are you staying' I told him  Hyatt Place on National Mall. I went downstairs to wait for my car and presently two middle aged women entered. One was taller with dark hair, the other shorter with blonde hair

'Agent Cooke ma'am' the shorter one introduced. She indicated her colleague and introduced her as Agent Barrow. After my security check, I got into the car and was driven the short distance to the White House.

Frank was waiting for me and after I had passed through security, he gave me a hug and escorted me up to the residence. I thanked the agents who brought me and we entered his room

I giggle as I counted $4500, I got up and went to Laura's mum to hug her congrats, going to Laura next, hugging her as well, caressing her hair and brushing my cheek against hers. I suggest to watch an episode of the series Heroes on the TV, Laura...
