Maybe a very strange song for you about breaking up, actually it is quite positive song. The song is not new and I heard it in the radio for several times, it popped up in my mind immediately, when I saw the thred.

Caircair, thanks for the post. Ray Charels was one of the best things ever to happen to music, in my humble opinion. May he eternally RIP.

Did any of y'all ever pay attention to an outfit called Katrina and the Waves? Their best-known was Walking on Sunshine, which I was never overly fond of...too much bubblegum for my blood. But they had one called Do You Want Crying which had a nice rock shading to it, and Katrina wasn't half-bad with her guitar. She could slide off into R&B when she wanted to...had one called Tears of a Woman which would be wicked to slow-dance to, and one called Cry To Me in which she somehow morphs into a blues-blastin' she-coon from way back at the forks of the crick! I've loved the blues with a passion ever since I was a kid and this song is the Real Deal. Check Katrina out on YouTube and see what you think.

How about having an emotional breakdown IN the song? Murray Head, singing the role of Judas in the original recording of "Jesus Christ Superstar", truly seems to be breaking down and sobbing in the song "Judas' Death". Many have sung it since (he was the first), but I have never heard anything like this. It is actually painful to listen to (but I love it).

Love this song, love the golden "tears" on her face.

I may have mentioned this one before, but ever since I heard this song it's been a favorite - "Tears" by the Bee Gees. This video has the lyrics as well:
