Hi,
IMO some of the best crying is done at big sporting events. Some cry when they win and some cry when they lose.
I always feel this is gulit free enjoyment as if they are crying due to winning then that's great because I love happy tears, and if they lost... well ok, it's sad but it's not the end of the world!
However, so far for me, nothing has beaten this! This is Roger Federer at the end of the Australian open 2009 final after he lost to Rafa Nadal. After hours of intense and exhausting tennis he just could not hold back the tears.
I love this because it has everything I like. Trembling lip, wet tears on the face and a lack of being able to talk. It's one of my favourite male crying videos. I was not attracted to Fed before this but I kinda fancy him now
In addition the camaradarie between the 2 players is so sweet and even Nadal has tears in his eyes.
Apologies if this has been previously posted but here it is.
This is just a compilation of photo's but there are some great shots.

I am for all crying women of all sports, really. It is often at their most intense and the mouth is often not covered.

I'm told Rebecca Romero was crying when she was presented with her gold medal for cycling at the 2008 Olympics. I would like to see that

Sorry TorNorth, it is no female crying!
Actually I don't like Roger Federer crying because i don't find him handsome, but he sheds a lot of tears, mostly happy tears when he is winning. I remember just one other scene where he cried after loosing when he was very young and lost in his home country to a german player. There ist also an interview after he lost Wimbledont to Rafael Nadal where he has to hold it together and walks away from the interviewer. I once saw an interview with him where he talked about his emotions, that he feels embarrassed but just can't hold back his tears.
Here are two other tennis related clips: Andy Murray crying after loosing to Roger Federer saying "I can cry like Roger, it is a shame I can't play like him"
And a very old clip about Pete Sampras breaking into tears during a tennis match against Jim Courier.

Roger Federer interview after losing the Australian Open:
You are famous for your emotions. Remember the pictures going around the world after losing the Australian Open? Do you watch this?
Usually if I win I watch everything, if I lose none! But this time it was all over the press. If you lose a match you are fragile and don't want to hear what is commented about. The crying was extreme in Australia. If you win and cry it is ok, but if you lose and cry it is embarassing, but it just happens, I can't control my emotions. I know that there are more important things than a tennis match but you give so much, you concentrate on the tournament, than you realize that the other one was better, it is a shock. You can't leave because you have to go through the ceremony. There are all the legends on the field and suddenly it is too much and I couldn't prevent the crying. It was good because it was out afterwards and the next day it is almost forgotten and I can go on. In the moment it is very intense and not very comfortable.
Who is able to offer comfort in such a situation?
I don't need comfort, I try to see the positive and I reached so much in my career. I am glad for Nadal, that he is very good, of course I have to go through the press conference, but when I am back at the hotel it is ok, the career is not over, it goes on.
