Cillian Murphy central -- a compilation of clips
Having gathered several Cillian Murphy clips, I'm going to post them all here, and update the thread if/when I find more. I like centralized threads where one can go to find several clips of the same person, or the same show, you know?
There will be one or two repeats from other threads I've posted, in the name of centralization.
28 Days Later, upon discovering his parents' fate. The haunting single voice singing 'Abide with Me' in the soundtrack as he covers his face and sobs makes me cry, tbh.
Aloft, finally meeting with the mother who abandoned him as a child. I especially like how his voice catches as he yells at her not to say his name:
Peaky Blinders, on the phone talking to his young son:
Red Lights (previously posted), discovering his mentor/dear friend collapsed from a heart attack, then hearing of her death:
Anthropoid, upon hearing an injured colleague shoot himself (shown). The camera holds steady on his face as a tear slowly trickles down his cheek. Video quality isnt great, but you can still see the tear if you watch on a laptop:

Great scenes, Phoebe ! I didn't know the scene from the first and the Peacky Blinders part. That s quite a close up. I wish he shows some more of his face while crying. He always covers it somewhat

There are also 2 scenes in Inception where he is on the verge of crying ( the famous cathartic one) and another in the second part of the film where he discloses things about his relashionship with his father. There are some tears gathering in his eyes but not much actual crying.. He seems more like a teaser when it comes to crying out loud.
Edit : There's also a short scene with him with one tear streaming down his face in Anthropoid at 1:44 into the movie.

psychic_girl thanks for giving me another reason for yet another rewatch of Inception! I of course recall the snow-level bedside moment, but not any other teary moments.
I fuckin love Inception. Did you know there's a truly impressive amount of Inception fanfic on Ao3 which means it's the good writing?

Thanks for telling me about it, i didn't know about that but i wondered at some point what is the meaning of your funky username

I don't remember the title of the fic, but it was something short, in which Eames (Tom Hardy) comforts Arthur (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) when Arthur cries upon receiving an upsetting phone call from a Phoebe. Eames doesn't know this Phoebe so he thinks of her as 'Phoebe-on-the-phone'. Now y'all know.
