Andrew Garfield - Under the Banner of Heaven ep6

On Hulu. Lots to unpack with this miniseries but has a lot of star players. ANYWAY!!

There are teary moments from multiple characters (male and female) throughout the series, but Andrew Garfield’s character struggles with his faith and cries about it hard at the end of ep 6. Tears, sobs, breath hitches, mild comfort from wife. Honestly satisfying but wish his wife would’ve done more.

What a great scene !  Those breaths he takes really sound amazing !

I will have to see if my roommate wants to watch this with me. She's an ex-Mormon and might be interested in the Mormon stuff.

In "Under the Banner of Heaven", Billy Howle does a lot of crying, especially in the first episode. He's very good (acting and crying).

Does anyone know if Adam Driver cries in The Last Duel?

Re: Crying Scenes Directory

Tom Cruise has 2  nice major tearing up scenes  in Top Gun : Maverick half through the movie. In one of them , the one which is a close up he's shown wiping them too.Miles Teller has also a short crying scene in the begining which shows some promise.

Re: Crying Scenes Directory

Tom cries in Minority Report too, and I recall seeing a tear on Miles' face in a clip from Whiplash.

That's a great scene too. I've looked today for some more and i found a very good sobbing scene in Thank you for your service at around 1:07:00 minutes. The character played by Miles tries to kill himself. He's shown with tears in his eyes and then he starts sobbing and gasping for air. A similar scene is also at the end of Only the Brave.

He cries another one in the scene too. And his voice is shaky..

J.K Simmons has also a sweet crying scene with a few tears streaming down in Whiplash

Re: Crying Scenes Directory

Thank you for the Miles leads. Turns out that at least when he's crying, I do not have the urge to punch him in the face. He's a good crier.
I'm posting his scenes from Thank You For Your Service and Only the Brave in my 'male actors crying' thread, as well as a really sweet scene from Cooper Raiff in Shithouse.
