The James Frain Video reminded me of a similar scene with Mads Mikkelsen in A ROYAL AFFAIR, where he gets executed.
And they are two other video:
The excellent danish movie JAGDEN (The Hunt).
And the danish Dogma Film OPEN HEARTS by Susanne Bier. It's the whole movie, i am afraid, the quality is low.
(around 1:35)
Anyhow, i have a soft spot for Danish Actors, since i really like Nikolaj Coster Waldau. I had the luck to watch the new Movie by Susanne Bier, it's called A SECOND CHANCE and it was shown in Toronto and San Sebastion Film Festival. The film hasn't a release date yet.
But Nikolaj Coster Waldau plays a father who has to endure greatest lost. You see a bit in the trailer. He really has three crying/sobbling scenes. Even the filmstill of the movie shows him with a tear in his eye. Its a very different character to his Jaime-Lannister-Role.

Thank you for these wonderfull clips. The execution scene reminded me of the same thing when i saw the previous clip. I'm glad you managed to find it on youtube because i searched for a Royal Affair ending last summer without much luck. I think Mads scene is more intense tough, maybe is the way it's filmed that adds more dramatism. If you pause at 4:19 into the clip you'll see tears springing from his eyes at the same time..
As far as Dogma i didn't find any crying scene at 1:35 ?

I hope I have a chance to see El Chance Til one way or another... it looks like a great movie (with lots of crying scenes :D).
And I need to see more of Mads' movies...
