I was standing next to a Co-worker of mine at our classroom sink (we work in a daycare). She started talking telling me she didn't feel good and all she wanted to.do was sit in a corner and cry. After a few min I could see her eyes filling with tears. She started wiping them with her fingers as they escaped (none rolled down her cheeks). I turned to her and opened my arms for a hug to which she immediately placed her head into my shoulder (so her eyes were facing down and covered). I started comfortingly rubbing her back with one hand and stroking her hair with my other hand as she tried to tell me what was wrong through her tears. I said a few comforting words to her.  After she lifted her head she took a paper towel and wiped her still falling tears. She then leaned in for another hug. After a min my boss told her to go home for the day to collect herself. After she gathered her things I opened my arms for one more hug and she graciously accepted telling me thank you.
