    Thanks SO MUCH for directing me to this scene!  I'm a huge Michael Crawford fan, and I actually remember seeing this production in a re-run on TV when I was 12 or 13 years old.  Strangely enough, the crying scene must not have stood out in my mind then, but now that I watch it, it is beautiful.
