I think this is the only scene in which he actually cries. His eyes look amazing in this one.

That was most interesting. The camera focuses square on his face for a while in a way that I feel I don't often see.

I also like the way his tears continue to stream down his face with every take( It's something we don't see very often inmost films ). And that girl is, by contrast, so calm and emotionless.
