A book of poems specifically designed to make men cry? That's strangely ambitious. Although from what the article is saying, the purpose is actually to increase the appreciation of poetry in general.

Personally, I read and watch tearjerkers knowing that I'm likely going to cry, and I let it happen. But would men even bother to read a book like this? Maybe they'd consider it to be a challenge!

There was a Nintendo game (only sold in Japan) called 99 Namida that claimed to do the same thing
