Re: The Reader, Ralph Fiennes

I didn't know the scene in Coriolanus, thank you for posting.
There is a scene in the old film "Onegin". I can't find it on the internet. Fiennes kills his duellist and breaks down crying over him. It is more the sound, no tears

Oh i know it, Onegin is one of my favorite movies. I wanted to post it at one point but i'm not very enthused by no tears scenes though i liked this scene when i first saw the movie. There's a break down scene in Land of the blind at one point where there's just a tear hanging from his nose while he sits on a bench. It's quite powerfull. I wish i saw more oh his eyes watering, he has very beaitufull blue green eyes

I just watched the scene with Michael Berg sobbing in the prison cell. My goodness, I wanted so much to put a hand on his shoulder and comfort him!  What a heartbreaking moment, courtesy of the brilliant Ralph Fiennes.  I also watched the last of the scenes you list and marveled at how visible the tears in Fiennes' (beautiful blue-green) eyes were.  For an actor to produce tears like that must take a great deal of concentration/emotional recall.
