Bit of a Observation feast... that's what I get for leaving it so long between posts!
Two of the observations relate to my wife (as recorded in the Crying Diary thread) - which is the first time this year I've seen her shed tears! Was beginning to go a bit crazy! She has got a bit emotional a couple of times with visible tears in her eyes but nothing falling down her face.
The first observation (25th July) was a full on tear explosion - I can't go into the details, always worry someone recognises the event - which is unlikely! Other than as I mentioned in the Crying Diary she was frustrated and disappointed with a friends actions. I was not with her when the event with her friend occurred - she may have been crying in front of her friend (or just after while alone) but I don't know for sure so not counted as an observation until I ask after a suitable duration has passed.
She was telling me a day after the event at home - I could hear the emotion building in her voice, her eyes were beginning to tear. Started to secretly get a little turned on - it's been a while! As she spoke and became quite angry her voice faltered completely - she was on the verge of sobbing - breathing in gasps and had to stop talking to regain a bit of composure. Tears were now brimming in her eyes, which dispite her pause in talking spilled out and streamed down her face. She attempted to speak again but was almost inaudible - more tears fell running down the previous fresh tear tracks and her chin did a definite wobble - quite unusual for my wife. Tears continued to fall quickly down her face, struggled not to get noticably turned on after such a tear drought. Tears started to drip off her chin and run down her neck - this I think tickled her skin as she wiped a few tears away from this area. She managed to slow her crying and stop reasonably quickly - given the initial intensity I thought she would be crying for a while but she only cried for about 10 minutes or so. As she calmed down I gave her a hug, as we parted I kissed her cheek which was soaking wet and tasted delicious
The second observation of my wife in the car was not such a major event (again reason in the Crying Diary) but did involve a tear - albeit just the one! As she stopped talking she was clearly crying but fighting the tears. She was blinking like mad - which was interesting as I've rarely witnessed my wife fight tears like this. However as one eye was full of tears she only succeeded in blinking it from her eye - it slowly began to roll down from the outside corner of her eye down her cheek leaving a very visible tear track down her cheek. When it reached her mid cheek she used her full hand to wipe her face removing the tear and drying her face completely. Her eyes where wet with tears for a few minutes but she did not speak again until she could do so without getting upset. My wife does not believe in crying in front of our daugther - who was in the back of the car and would not have seen the tear. Apart from when she was a baby or a most a toddler my wife has never shed tears that my daugther has witnessed - a topic for another thread perhaps.
Observations continued in next post... in case I lose this one!

Ok, continued - the next observation or observations came together - a husband and wife. As with most of my observations I won't go into details regarding the reason for the tears. All I will say is that the husband is facing a very difficult time in his life at the moment - this couple are friends of ours and it was only myself talking to them both.
It was the wife that began to get upset first - her eyes welled up very quickly and almost immediately tears shot down her cheeks bouncing off her cheekbone and dripping off her face. She put her had to her mouth and begain to sob quietly unable to continue talking. I put a hand gentle on her shoulder and said something like - "that's such a nightmare" - referring to what she had just told me. More tears started to roll down her face and she began to cry harder - rythmic but fairly quiet sobbing. She took her hand away from her mouth to reach into her handbag to find a tissue and she definitely had a bit of a lup curl going on - probably a mild one on the TorNorth scale but definitely bulging out. Before she got the tissue out and up to her nose it dripped - something I'm not keen on but she quickly started wiping her nose. It was at this point I glanced at her husband and was really surprise to notice his chin was wobbling (a lot) and a large tear was rolling slowly down his cheek. He mouthed, almost breathlessly an apology as another large tear fell through his eyelashes and started rolling unchecked down his face. His wife noticing that he was crying let out a kind of squeak and sobbed a little louder. Although I was fasinated by this display of joint male and female crying it was beginning to feel a little awkward - what do you do as an outsider when two people in a relationship cry like this? Perhaps another thread soon. They move closer to each, snuggling in a bit still crying - she wiping her nose as tears fell using the same tissue to catch some of her tears. He just stood there, the odd tear running unchecked down his face dripping from under his chin - his face was expressionless except that he bit is bottom lip from time to time. They were clearly feeling a bit awkward as well and unable to quickly regain their composure they both made apologies in very wobbly emotional voices - still crying. He let out a big sigh, blowing out shaking his head. She went to speak again and could not as they turned to head back into their house. This only happened last week and I've not seen them yet - kind of want to see them again quickly as I feel the longer we leave it the more ackward our next meeting will be.
An amazing observation however, one of the most intense and 'unusual' I've witnessed. I've seen male and female partners cry together before but only at funerals and not where I've been interacting with them directly.

Final two... not nearly as good...
Next one was a work colleague - her daugther starts school soon. She was recounting the weekends shopping trip to buy her school uniform and the trying it on session at home. As she told us very voice wobbled and she waved her had in front of her face as if fanning the tears away! Her eyes filled with tears but just as a tear as about to fall down her cheek she wiped her eyes directly removing the tear. She rubbed her other tear filled eye before it got a chance to produce a tear. She quickly regain her composure after that.
Last one... I managed to pass a year long course recently - one of my fellow female student also passed and became very emotional. She started to cry with tears springing to her eyes. She tried to wipe them away with her hand but they were coming too fast so several ran down her cheek before she caught them and wiped them away. She was half crying / half laughing, telling herself off for getting so emotional. Everyone was giving her hugs and joking with her - a nice observation, just wish she had let the tears flow more.
That's all for now... hope you enjoy

I love how you go into the details so we can favor every bit of it.

With me it's a bit like the arrival of buses - for what felt like an age, no observations - even my wife had not shed visible tears this year and then in the space of about 5 weeks these observations.
The couple observation will go done as a special one for some time to come - still have not spoke to them since.
Hey Truffle, I'm never that far away I just don't have enough hours in the day!

It was... I'm a 100% straight guy and I love, I mean love watching a good looking woman cry with tears rolling unchecked down her face. But male crying I find intriguing! It's primarily from the social aspect - i.e. guys generally are not particular good at crying in public but at times male crying has turned me on.
I remember watching a video clip of a film director crying (just a single tear down his face) while reviewing a scene. And I was so turned on - which I found very confusing. I've watched my own tears running down my face and been turned on (not sure if I've admitted that before!)
After much though I think it's the movement of the tears - not necessarily the face they are rolling down that does it for me - a well defined tear flowing just so is stunning - whether male or female!
This guy shed the same kind of tears - she was also shedding amazing tears - so double turned on!!

I get that completely.I can get turned on from a woman crying too even though I'm completely straight. It's the aesthetics of it I think. It's just a beautiful thing.
