Saw The Water Diviner

Spoilers !!!

What divine crying scenes i just saw !! Russel Crowe really outdid himself with this role. In the first part of the movie he's almost all the time teary or on the verge of crying, then there's a scene from the trailer when he discovers his dead wife in the pool  and he mourns out loud  and there's one more brief  scene when ( Spoiler) he's flushed and sobbing gently in the cemetery. The 3 actors who play his sons cry as well..at least 2 of them are seen clearly in close up in gutwrenching scenes ( my mother cried next to me during those dramatic scenes with them, i don't want to disclose more) Ryan Carr wails in that scene and in the last part of the movie and Russel Crowe is shown in close up with tears streaming down his face. I don't like the fact that the final scene is cut right when he tears up more and then he's shown with a dry face as if he hadn't really shed any tears.. This is the only bug i don't like spotting in the final scenes. Overall,  this movie  was really impressing and dramatic same as Interstellar last year !
I found it a bit unusual for an actor who used to play very tough guys to become so emotional, in a movie directed by him. He's really amazing at portraying that silent, subdued emotion that bursts out of pain and it was also unusual to see so many tears though i was familiar with the  snot -sob scene from The Gladiator and the Ciderella Man teary scenes..

''I like crying. And now I not only wanna cry and show my crying to other people, I wanna just split myself down the middle and open my guts and just throw everything out!''
