Wow. Not sure what I would do in that situation, but what a fantastic story.

Yes, that story is quite something, and the pictures are beautiful. The fact that Schneider wanted those pictures taken, that the shoot seemed to be part of his grieving process, that the photographer waited for consent to release the story and pictures to the public, that Schneider gave consent... It all makes it that much more special. Plus I wouldn't feel right looking at those photos had they been 'leaked' without consent.
