Re: Crying on cue: stories behind the scene

Found a youtube clip where the hotness Antje Traue talks about the scene where Faora cries in Man of Steel. Pity she didn't talk about the actual crying, though. Her crying was such a tease in that film. Keep an eye out guys, I totally want to see her sobbing some time in the near future. It would be so awesome if she lip curls.

Emmy Rossum on her crying scenes in Shameless:

"There's nothing quite as bizarre as trying to ignore paparazzi while you're imagining your family dying to make yourself cry in a scene."

"A little smile, a little sip and you'd never know I cried all day in scenes for #shameless! Thanks"

Re: Crying on cue: stories behind the scene

I'd love to find info on Eddie redmayne and his crying techniques. I've seen him cry in three films all of which he cried in repeatedly  and it's always from the gut and right on target.
I also wonder how any actor does it take after take.

Re: Crying on cue: stories behind the scene

Jonathan Banks ("Mike") of "Better Call Saul" talks about how he cried during a hugely emotional scene (Season 1, ep. 5):

Re: Crying on cue: stories behind the scene

I found an article about a nice crying scene in breaking bad.
As it is a long time ago it aired I guess I just describe the scene and it won't be a spoiler.
In season 2, last episode, Jesse finds his death girlfridend lying in bed beside him and tries to revive her. Here is an interview with krysten ritter who talks about the scene. In case you haven't seen the scene I found one on YouTube (bad quality but anyhow)

Has anyone posted the interview for Silver Linings Playbook in which De Niro tears up? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxJKp7Qgcls
