I said I'd be back with more, and here I am. 
First, beginning at 27:40, is Michael Landon's "on the verge of tears" scene from the episode "Dust Child."  I particularly like how he keeps blinking his eyes, presumably to hold the tears back:




Next, from "Another Kind of War, Another Kind of Peace," comes a nice Landon comforting scene -- start the video at 16:13 -- as well as a touching monologue delivered by the great Ernest Borgnine -- start the video at 32:24.  Notice how Borgnine surreptitiously wipes his eye at the monologue's end (35:58):
