Something I've noticed; a (not quite) self-obs

A few days ago I completed and received final approval on big project that has required a lot of work, late nights, and anxiety over the past year or so.

Since then, I've noticed something odd: In general, I rarely ever cry (and when I do it tends to be when I'm angry or frustrated about something.)  But lately I find myself tearing up over silly, sentimental things -- characters finally getting together in movies or TV shows, unexpected Olympic victories, certain lines in songs.  If someone was watching and they knew what they were looking for, they would probably see my breath catch and my eyes mist over for a few seconds before I blink the tears back.

Honestly, I think it's just the relief of finally being finished with something that had been causing me so much stress, and I suspect (hope?) it will pass very soon.   (BTW: This site and all the great posts and videos have been a welcome escape for me over the past several months. So thanks!

Maybe you can release properly and bawl it out. The pent up stresses might be worth getting rid of. Be sure to give us a full report if you do go for that. ;)
