Tom Hiddleston in Coriolanus: National Theater Live

I found something kind of great!

In 2014, Tom Hiddleston starred in a production of Shakespeare's Coriolanus at the Donmar Warehouse theater in London, it was also broadcast in movie theaters in the UK (and maybe in the US) by National Theater Live.

I came across some nice GIFs of this performance awhile ago (I'd be happy to post them in the image section if anyone is interested), but I recently found out that some lovely person has posted high-quality videos of the whole production online.

The video is in two parts:

Part 1: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B39MjQsqoLjgdU84OVVBbEIwZ2s/edit?pli=1
Part 2: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B39MjQsqoLjgQmtQbUZwa2NLOUE/edit?pli=1

(The crying is pretty much confined to Part 2 – there are a few tearful moments scattered throughout – but I've included both parts in case anyone is interested in watching the whole thing.  I’d recommend it.)

Hiddleston has a pretty amazing extended crying scene at the end of Part 2 that includes tears, an adorable lip quiver, and some light sobbing as well.  Here as elsewhere, I think he looks particularly great with tears in his eyes.  I also think the fact that this is all happening live onstage really adds to the appeal.
I'd recommend starting at 54:30 to set up the context, but the crying starts in earnest around 57:00 and lasts about 5 minutes or so. (In the scene, his mother, wife, and son have come to beseech him not to pursue military action on Rome as revenge for his banishment.)

P.S. @TorNorth: if you happen to read this, the pretty blonde actress that plays Hiddleston's wife sobs with a bulging lower lip around 9:45 in Part 2.

Oh wow.  That was just beautiful.  I've wanted to see this for some time.  It's pretty hard to find.  Thank you so much for posting!
Tom Hiddleston is really amazing.  Great actor at home in both popcorn movies and the classics.  Educated at Cambridge and RADA. Can speak five languages including ancient Greek.  Kind of makes you wonder what on EARTH he and Taylor Swift could possibly have had to talk about.

Climbing to a high chamber in a well of houses, he threw himself down in his clothes on a neglected bed, and its pillow was wet with wasted tears. -- A Tale of Two Cities

Thanks, Squonk! I was really pleased to find it.

Hiddleston is quite the talented linguist!
Have you seen The Hollow Crown?  It's a BBC miniseries that includes productions of a number of Shakespeare's history plays -- I believe Hiddleston appears in the 2012 stagings of Henry IV & V.  From the handful of GIFs I've seen, I suspect it has some excellent crying scenes as well.
