I have a lot of crying scenes that I haven't posted yet because most of them are one-offs and I prefer to post things in sets/groups: sets of a given actor crying, sets from a given show, whatever. I like sets. This is gonna be my 'set' for one-off crying scenes.
First, I want to link missyjdma's thread of various crying actors, which gave me the idea for this one. There are lots of clips there, with show and usually the character name of the one crying. Descriptions make things soooo much more searchable.
Stranger Things 1x8 Hopper (David Harbour) has a flashback to a memory of being with his dead daughter in her final days. There's just something about men crying in stairwells that breaks my heart.
Sirens, 1x6 Rhys Thomas' character finally finds a way to grieve his father's death, from the top of an ambulance. It makes a little more sense in context.
Haunting of Bly Manor e6 (I think) Peter Quint (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) has a horrible flashback/dream sequence involving his abusive mother.
Bones 7x4 Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan remember his deceased father, and he lets out a cute little silent tear.
Antichrist The character only listed as He (Willem Dafoe) at his young child's funeral. (This movie is infamous for several things I won't list, and none of them happen here. Here is just two parents grieving in a more healthy way.)
IT Chapter Two Richie (Bill Hader) grieves the loss of his dear friend for whom he'd had unspoken feelings.
I will be adding more. Feel free to post your own here, just make sure the scene contains male crying and the link is accompanied by some identifying info (the actor name or the show or movie, stuff like that) in the post.
