Crying Discussion » Was David Lynch one of us??? » April 15, 2025 6:18 pm

Depends on how one would qualify 'one of us' but it sure seems possible.

I also have questions about Krysten Ritter, what with her interview where she talks about shooting the scene where Jesse cries trying to revive her, and she says "I could feel his hot tears falling on me'. https://www.vulture.com/2013/09/krysten-ritter-breaking-bad-essay.html
Like, in context shes describing the intensity and stuff, not indicating that she enjoyed it at all, but... that's really evocative language about experiencing someone else's tears, and if I were doing an interview and I said something about someone crying, I'd attempt to frame it as intense as opposed to anything I remotely enjoyed. *shrug*

Got a bunch of new ones!

Josh Hartnett cries several tears at the end of Trap
Daniel Zovatto shakes with sobs for a long time around 1:19:00 of Woman of the Hour
Nicholas Hoult cries roughly two thirds of the way through Renfield
Jamie Dornan's' eyes slowly fill with tears around 52:00 of A Haunting in Venice and another guy is very near tears around 1:09:00
Andrew Garfield tears up multiple times in We Live In Time: about 48:30, 1:18:00, and 1:31:00

Ooh noisy. I like when they're noisy.

He also cries early in The King's Man.

Oh fuck yes, the sounds.

One of my favorite things is when a man cries hard enough that his voice starts sounding ragged, like, frayed at the edges. Matthew McConaughey does this in the fireside scene in Sea of Trees. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vHxZcbPwUavI_bi5Fyg5RBp_owL3etdw/view?usp=sharing

My screen recording software has decided to log me out and thus severely limit my ability to use the service, and the company is giving me the runaround on fixing the issue. Def puts a damper on my ability to post new scenes.

I'm gonna check this site more often though, and I plan to turn my focus to posting what's on youtube.

Psychic–girl, he’s such a lovely crier. He can cry pretty with the single man tears and he can cry ugly with his voice all cracking and stuff.

Love these!

I heard he cries in The Science of Sleep as well.
