There is a LOT of female crying. I think there’s at least more than five female crying scenes in the first episode. all the scenes vary from tears to hysterical, sobbing outbursts. I highly recommend!!!!
Now I'm definitely interested. I know that the Remedy games, particularly Alan Wake 2, are said to have drawn inspiration from Twin Peaks, hence my initial interest in it, guess I should check it out for the tears.

Crying Videos » "bilibili" chinese crying videos (F) » March 9, 2025 3:44 am |
Bilibili is one of the top 3 sources of very tearful crying content (I'd say the other two are Rednote and TikTok). Nothing against YouTube, it's just much harder to find good crying content buried underneath tons of irrelevant results, whereas on Bilibi and Rednote, simply using Google translate to find the Chinese words for crying and tears returns super relevant results of actual crying and not clickbait nonsense like on YouTube. And on TikTok, finding your initial few videos is slightly harder than on these two sites, but it has the best algorithm and once you've watched a few crying videos, it just recommends similar ones.
Crying Discussion » Boys: How do you feel about crying in front of a woman? » February 26, 2025 1:17 am |
I've cried in front of three different women in my adult life - my ex and two other friends. One of the friends and my ex have seen me cry more than once. The two friends have seen me cry quite hard. I've teared up a little in front of a few others, and cried over the phone a couple of times to another female friend.
I'd say for me it depends on the context and who it is I'm crying in front of, I wouldn't cry in front of most people, but there are people I trust enough (and usually engage in emotional conversations and things only with them) that I have cried in front of. I will say that if I get married, I'll only want to cry in front of my wife and no other woman.

No, neither of us has wiped each other's tears.

I don't know about how prevalent the boys don't cry motto is, it's not necessarily verbalized as much, but also, I've hardly seen men cry (there was a classmate in high school who cried a few times, and another close friend who's cried a couple of times in front of me, but not much beyond that).
For me, it'd depend on whom I'm crying in front of. There are a few people, close friends, I've at least teared up in front of (a couple of them I've cried multiple times in front of, including both the guys from above, and a couple of girls besides my ex). In fact, there was this one female friend I cried quite hard in front of and there were other people around (including her boyfriend), and she cried too (at least, her eyes were filled with tears, and she was giving me a side hug, so I didn't quite see if she shed any tears). I didn't feel that embarrassed or self-conscious in that context as it was one of those contexts where people generally do cry. But, if not for that context, I don't think I'd have been that comfortable crying in front of her (or anyone else) with that many people around. Another female friend who's seen me cry multiple times (I think she may have seen me cry more times in my adult life than anyone else) has also cried a couple of times in front of me - the first time remains perhaps my favorite obs of all time.
Speaking of my ex, she and I almost never spent time together in front of others (we had a sort of a secret relationship due to some complicating factors), so all our tears were in private. There was one time she cried in front of a couple of mutual friends (that was actually one of the best obs of her I had as her tears were very clearly glistening in her eyes and trickling down the middle of her cheeks perfectly, she's only cried like that about three times and the other times she cried, often, the tears ran down her nose or straight into my shoulders).

I see. How do you feel when you see those? I personally felt a little awkward the first time I saw the videos of my friends.
A couple of thought experiments - what are the odds that one of us on this forum has come across crying photos or videos of a friend or family member of someone else on this forum? Also, what do the personal friends and family members of people who regularly post crying videos online (especially some girls on TikTok and similar platforms) think about their crying content? Just thinking out loud.

Just wondering whether people have come across (either on social media or YouTube) photos and videos of people you know in real life crying? I obviously won't post them here, but I've seen two videos of women I know (and while I'm not super close with either of them, I'd call them friends) crying online.
One is on Instagram, and she actually cries tears of joy in the video. The quality isn't great, but a single tear trickling down each cheek is visible (which she quickly wipes, and the video is quite short).
The other is on YouTube, a vlog style video where this lady tears up and has tear-filled eyes for a good portion of the video. She wipes her eyes and blinks back her tears before any can trickle down, but the tears are visible in her eyes.
I've also seen a photo of another young lady I was friends with a few years ago where while no tears were visible, it looked like she'd been crying as her eyes were slightly red and damp and it looked like she'd just wiped tears off her face (and the context of the post heavily suggested that she indeed had been crying before taking the picture).
I've seen another post from a different friend on Instagram where she talks about crying a lot with one of her friends, but none of the photos showed either of them (her or her friend) crying.
Have you seen these sorts of posts, photos, videos?
