David Tennant clip central

I bring you another entry in what's more or less the Crying Hall of Fame. Some actors are prolific criers and I find it simplest to consolidate as many of their scenes into one thread as I can. See my previous threads for Keifer Sutherland and Cillian Murphy, inspired by (I think) Squonk's mega thread on John Simm.

I will update this thread as I acquire new scenes.

Re: David Tennant clip central

Phoebe, thank you! You are a treasure trove of great clips!

You're right about prolific criers, another one of my favorites is Michael Fassbender - I know a couple of his crying scenes were not acted but spontaneous, the most famous one being the scene from "The Counselor" when he's in the car on his phone.

Oh yes, Michael Fassbender is another good one, and come to think of it he is fairly prolific.

Re: David Tennant clip central

The fourth link (episode 8, season 2 ) where he cries in that office after he sees those files has a very nice build up. What was the story about that made him cry, if i dare ask ?
And the one from Single Father..i missed that the first time Squonk put it out there, so much rawness !!

Re: David Tennant clip central

I found the scene i've been looking for in the images section. It's from the movie Einstein and Eddington.
I think it can complete this consistent thread.

TBH I don't know. I saw the first season but not 2 or 3.

Re: David Tennant clip central

Updated to add Doctor Who scenes. I've been re-watching the series and god it's heart-wrenching when the Doctor cries, in any incarnation I've seen so far (I saw partway through Eleven's run with Amy and Rory). The way Ten rocks the Master's dead body in his arms as he cries is particularly heartbreaking.
