After jiggling my thighs once more Jarrod finally reminded me that the glass company was coming soon so if we wanted to eat we'd have to do so pretty soon so we were done and out of their way when they came.

Hearing my stomach start to rumble I said "Yeah I guess we should get up and go down to eat." I then quickly got up from the bed with Jarrod quickly following behind and made my way downstairs to the kitchen.

As soon as I got into the kitchen I made a b-line for the fridge. Upon opening it and looking at it's contents I said "I don't know what I really feel like. Would you mind if I just picked on some leftovers? I mean I don't want to make you cook and I really don't feel like cooking myself. Besides the glass company will be here in a bit." With that my stomach began to rumble again, slightly louder than last time.

I found a little something to eat although there weren't much leftovers. Jarrod opted for just a glass of juice saving the food for me. Always the gentleman. Not long after the glass company arrived.  We quickly finished eating then Jarrod switched his focus on to them. He was watching them to make sure they were doing their job up to his specifications.

I didn't want to be in the way so I told Jarrod I'd wait upstairs until they were done so I didn't get in the way. As I was on my way back upstairs I hears Jarrod's phone ring soon finding out it was a text. I decided to wait until he was done reading the message to go upstairs. I noticed he had a look of shock on his face after closing his phone.

"Is everything alright?" I asked concerned.

"It was a text from my brother. He says he had a fight with his wife and walked out to calm down. As he was walking past a coffee shop near his house he saw a woman whom he thought was attractive. He "accidentally " bumped into her and upon striking up a conversation found out she thought he was attractive too. He wants me to him to talk but in person and alone."

"Whenever you decide to go I'll just head home. I mean I haven't been there in a bit and need to get stuff done there anyways. That is if you don't want company." I said trying to sound as sympathetic as possible.

"I'm not going anywhere until my windows are fixed and then I'll decide." Jarrod said quickly as I then turned and headed upstairs.

"I'd love to!" I squealed with excitement. "How about after you get your windows fixed you pack then we head to my house so I can pack." I was extremely honored that Jarrod wanted me there with him in what was appearing to be an emotionally difficult time for him. It was nice he was starting to rely on me as much as I was starting to rely on him.

"when did your brother say he wanted you? How soon do we have to leave?" I asked curiously

I didn't mind the help as I wanted to.make sure I was packing just the right clothes he liked as he previously mentioned.

Jarrod tells me we should leave as soon as possible so as soon as the windows were installed Jarrod quickly grabbed his things and threw them in a suitcase. Then he called a cab and we quickly arrived at my place so I could pack.

I had Jarrod help me pack  as he had certain items he was hoping I would pack and I was letting him find those for me so I could pack them. I did however pack one of my nice dresses he's never seen before.

"What's that?" Jarrod asked me curiously seeing I was hiding a few items that were being packed.

"Don't worry I'm sure they'll help ease your tension when you see them." I said giving him a sly smile as I finished packing.

As soon as we finished packing Jarrod asked me if I wanted to leave tonight or tomorrow. I decided since it was his brother to leave it up to him.

"Seeing as how it is your brother and tomorrow is Saturday it's up to you. Would you feel better going tonight or tomorrow? I mean it is late tonight. It is nearing 8pm and we could leave first thing in the morning unless you'd rather go tonight. I'm fine either way. I just want to do whatever makes you feel better." I say reassuringly placing one of my hands on his nearest shoulder.
